The best time to go
March to September is the drier window and the best time for the islands and diving. Flexible dates are worth real money here, especially around the holiday peaks.
Booking your flights
Kota Kinabalu International (BKI) takes direct flights from across the region, and the city centre is close to the airport. It’s the natural hub for the whole of Sabah. Where to stay
